On December 17, 2025, Neocannbio held a groundbreaking ceremony for Korea's first hemp-derived Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients GMP Plant in Pungsan-myeon, Andong-si, on land owned by Neocannbio. The event was attended by dignitaries from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, Gyeongsangbuk-do Provincial Government, Andong City Hall, and domestic and international dignitaries.

Neocannbio, which is recognized globally beyond Korea, hopes to enhance the competitiveness of the domestic medical hemp industry in the global market through the establishment of this GMP plant.
